Durgapur Barrage is a dam located on the Damodar River in West Bengal. It is situated at a distance of 10 km from the city of Durgapur. The dam was built in 1982 and is used for irrigation and flood control. It has a large reservoir provides water to the nearby cities of Durgapur, Asansol and the industrial towns of Durgapur, Raniganj and Jamuria.
