Takhni-Rehmapur Wildlife Sanctuary
Takhni Rehmapur Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the district of Hoshiarpur in Punjab, India. It was established in 1982 and covers an area of approximately 157 hectares. The sanctuary is situated on the banks of the River Beas and is surrounded by the Shivalik Hills, which add to the place's natural beauty.
The sanctuary is known for its diverse wildlife. It is home to various animal species, such as spotted deer, sambar, barking deer, wild boar, Indian crested porcupine, black-naped hare, and many more. The sanctuary is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 150 species of birds recorded here.
