Mukta Minar
The Mukta Minar, located in the historic city of Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab, India, is a towering structure that commemorates the sacrifice of two young Sikh princes who were bricked alive by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1705. The seminar symbolises the Sikh community's resilience and determination to fight for their rights and beliefs.
The seminar stands at a height of 175 feet and is built entirely of white marble. The structure is adorned with intricate carvings and calligraphic inscriptions from the Sikh holy book, the Guru Granth Sahib.
