Veda Peak is one of Nagaland most popular tourist attractions, known for its breathtaking views and natural beauty. The peak is located in the Pungro-Kiphire district at an altitude of 2,104 meters above sea level, and it is also known as the Pak Koi Peak.
The trek to the peak is quite challenging but rewarding. It passes through beautiful forests and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The tour takes around 5-6 hours to complete and is best done from November to March when the weather is pleasant.
Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. On a clear day, you can see the Brahmaputra River in the distance. The summit also has a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered a sacred site by the locals.
