Chakrashila Wildlife Sanctuary
Chakrashila Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in the western part of the Dhubri district in Assam, India. The sanctuary covers an area of 45.568 sq. km and is known for its diverse flora and fauna. The refuge is located in the foothills of the Himalayas and is surrounded by lush green forests and hills.
The sanctuary was established in 1994 and declared a wildlife sanctuary in 2004.
