Bongal Pukhuri
Bongal Pukhuri is a historic pond in the heart of Sivasagar town in the Indian state of Assam. The pond is believed to have been excavated by the Ahom King Swargadeo Rudra Singha in the 18th century. The pond is rectangular and is spread over an area of about 12 acres. The pond is surrounded by a walking track, which makes it a popular spot for morning and evening walks.
