Scuba diving at Grand Island is the classic “boat day + guided dive” experience—ideal for first-timers who want clearer offshore water than typical shoreline spots. The day usually includes a pickup from North Goa, a boat ride to Grand Island, a safety briefing, and an instructor-led dive where swimming isn’t mandatory. If you’re still comparing locations, inclusions, timings, or training options, start with our main Scuba Diving in Goa page for the complete overview before you book. Grand Island is most enjoyable in the October–May season when sea conditions are generally calmer. Sea Water Sports organizes this all-inclusive day trip, designed specifically for beginners and first-timers. You do not need to know swimming to participate.
